Instructions for The Christmas Candle Craft
Step 1:
You’ll need an empty TP roll and colored craft papers for this craft. The template includes patterns for the candle base cover (to cover the empty tube), flames, light around the flame (small round shape), melted candle side, candle top part (big round shape), leaves and berries. Trace the patterns using a pencil and cut them out with scissors.
Step 2:
Join the berry cutouts by overlapping them slightly on their sides and make vertical creases on the leaf cutouts.
Step 3:
Join the leaves side by side, on an open end.
Step 4:
Join the berries to the leaves.
Step 5:
Attach the small candle flame cutout onto the big flame cutout.
Step 6:
Attach the flame pattern on the flame-light cutout.
Step 7:
Make a thin fold along the bottom side of the light pattern.
Step 8:
Prepare the paper to cover the cardboard tube or TP roll. Attach the melted candle side along the top side of the prepared paper.
Step 9:
Cover the TP roll with the paper you have just prepared.
Step 10:
Cover the top open side of the TP roll with the big round shape. Or, you can trace the TP roll’s shape and prepare a cover.
Step 11:
Attach the flame pattern on the top cover, by gluing its thin folded part.
Step 12:
Attach the holly berries to the bottom, front side of the candle.
Step 13:
Add more decorative details to the candle if you want to.
