Instructions for the Seashell Earrings Craft

Step 1
Select 2 seashells of the same size and shape. You can use store-bought seashells that are sold for crafting and have holes. You can also use a jewelry drilling tool or awl to make holes in the sea shells. The holes should be in the shells’ inner (narrow) side. Measure and cut out a 5” long strand of beading wire. Fold the wire in half.

Step 2
Insert one end of the beading wire through a hole in a seashell and bring the shell to the half-fold part.

Step 3
Now, hold both open ends of the wire together and insert beads through them. You can use any color of beads you like, although we used white beads to go with the white seashells for a pristine look.

Step 4
2 or 3 beads would give a nice balanced look. Hold the open end of the wire with a looping plier, adjacent to the last bead. Create a loop and start coiling the remaining wire below the loop, around the wire.

Step 5
Attach a hook (earring hook) through the end loop of the wired shell and beads.

Step 6
Similarly, craft another seashell earring to complete the pair.
