Instructions for the Clay Frog Craft
Step 1
Select green, white, black, and pink clay for the clay frog craft. Take an amount of green clay for the body base, the two side legs, 2 front legs, and the eye parts of the frog. Form all 3 amounts into smooth spheres.
Step 2
Take the big clay ball and form an arch shape, round on top and flat on the bottom side. The clay frog base is ready.
Step 3
Make a small hole at the bottom end of the clay. This will help to keep the clay frog stand straight.
Step 4
Take an amount of clay to make the 2 eye parts of the clay frog. Form 2 small, even ball shapes with them.
Step 5
Join the 2 small ball shapes on the top (round side) side of the frog base.
Step 6
Use a clay tool to adjust and mix the joint sides of the eye parts with the body base.
Step 7
Take out another amount of green clay to make the side legs. Form 2 even ball shapes with the clay.
Step 8
Roll them into cylinder shapes.
Step 9
Make slight bends on one side of the clay cylinder shapes to form the side legs of the clay frog.
Step 10
Join the 2 side legs on both sides of the clay frog body base.
Step 11
Take out 2 very small amounts and form small ball shapes; for the front legs.
Step 12
Join them onto the front side of the body base.
Step 13
Prepare 2 small pink ball shapes for the blush spots.
Step 14
Join the blush spots on the cheek parts of the clay frog (on the top part of the body base).
Step 15
Add round black disk shapes onto the eye parts.
Step 16
Add small white clay spots on the black parts to complete the clay frog craft.
