Instructions for The Rocking UFO Craft

Step 1

Prepare the UFO craft template by printing and cutting out the patterns neatly. Select cardstock for the base and select craft paper for the other patterns. Trace the patterns on the chosen paper and cut out the traced patterns with scissors.

Step 2

Fold the base round shape in half, neatly.

Step 3

Attach the base border along any of the round open edges on either side. The side with the border attached will be the front of the UFO base.

Step 4

Attach the lights (small round cutouts) along the border of the base.

Step 5

Take the alien cutouts and attach the antenna on the top of the head.

Step 6

Attach the head on the top (narrow side) of the body cutout.

Step 7

Attach the sparkle/ shine cutout on the glass cutout (near its round edge).

Step 8

Use matching sharpies to draw outlines on the glass and the alien pattern. Use sharpie to draw the eyes and mouth of the alien figure.

Step 9

Attach the papercraft alien in the middle of the glass pattern.

Step 10

Glue the glass pattern to the closed side of the folded base, in the middle.

Step 11

Now, you can place the UFO craft on a flat surface and see how the open round ends will make rocking movements.
