How to Make Your Oh the Places You’ll Go Craft

Step 1
Select cardstock or thick craft paper for the layers; you can use regular craft paper for the other patterns. Prepare the template patterns by printing and cutting them out. Trace the patterns on the selected cardstock and craft papers and cut them out.

Step 2
Place the blue square paper on a flat surface and attach 2 thin cardboard or foam strips along any 2 opposite sides (or all 4 sides) of the square layer.

Step 3
Apply glue along the top part of the strips and then place the 2nd layer (cloud pattern) on the top of it. Keep the round edges of the cloud facing up.

Step 4
Attach 2 thin cardboard or foam strips along any 2 opposite sides (or all 4 sides) of the 2nd layer (cloud layer).

Step 5
Apply glue along the top part of the strips and then place the 3rd layer (yellow layer) on the top of it.

Step 6
Similarly, attach the 4th (last layer) layer.

Step 7
Take the hot air balloon cutouts and attach the balloon color layers on the balloon base cutout.

Step 8
Craft the boy in the balloon basket as well. Trim the extra sides of the balloon color layers.

Step 9
Use a Sharpie to draw borders and patterns on the papercraft items.

Step 10
Place the papercraft items on the 3d layer base or glue them on a fixed place if you want to, to finish up your Oh the Places You’ll Go craft.
