Ocean Animal Mini-Reports
Today’s printable is one that seems deceptively simple, yet it’s great for helping kids learn to write short reports in a way that’s fun and easy! When my kiddos were younger, they felt like writing a report on a blank sheet of paper was a huge and intimidating task. But using printables like these Ocean Animal Mini Reports made the job seem so much more doable. Even older children who are intimidated by writing assignments can use these pages as a way of learning to write reports in a way that’s enjoyable and doesn’t seem so overwhelming.
This printable pack includes report pages for writing about sharks, hammerhead sharks, dolphins, seals, and whales. All you need to do is provide your children with *a non-fiction book for each animal (or a book about ocean animals that may include information for each of these animals) and let them fill out the report pages. There’s room to write about what these animals eat, how they swim, where they live, and a couple of facts (or fun facts!) about them. Just download and go! *I’ve listed some suggested books near the bottom of this article.
