We’re snowed in today, which means I am baking like crazy and eating all the junk food like we won’t live to see another donut shop. This morning, I stepped aside to let my father-in-law, who just happened to have worked in a donut shop many years ago, work his magic in the kitchen.
He made us the most amazing, fluffy donuts. They’re every bit as light and fluffy as a Krispy Kreme donut, with a chocolate glaze that reminds me of my (sticky sweet and awesome) childhood.
Really, you need to drop everything, and make these now. They are every bit as good as they look, and lasted less than 20 minutes in my house. Nom Nom.
