Cute 3D Bird Craft for Mother’s Day

This adorable 3D bird craft will be an adorable homemade gift for mothers or grandmothers on Mother’s Day. When your child has completed all the steps, it will feature a cute mommy bird with a baby bird in a colorful 3D background.

Supplies for the Mother’s Day 3D Bird Craft:

• Colored craft papers
• Colored cardstock paper
• Craft glue
• Pencil
• Sharpies
• A pair of scissors
• Cardboard sheet
• Mother’s Day 3D Bird Craft

Instructions for the Mother’s Day 3D Bird Craft

Step 1:

Select different shades of green cardstock papers for the 3 top layers and select blue paper for the bottom layer (square). Select colored craft papers for the bird and leaf patterns and select brown cardstock paper for the tree branch pattern. Trace and cut out the patterns neatly.

Step 2:

Glue the wing cutout on the body base of the bird pattern. Fill the eye base with eye pattern.

Step 3:

Glue the beak and eye cutouts on the bird base to complete the bird craft. Similarly, craft the other bird.

Step 4:

Glue the leaf cutouts on the tree branch cutout.

Step 5:

Place the blue square paper on a flat surface and attach 2 thin cardboard or foam strips along any 2 opposite sides (or all 4 sides) of the square layer.

Step 6:

Apply glue along the top part of the strips and then place the 2nd layer on the top of it.

Step 7:

Attach 2 thin cardboard or foam strips along any 2 opposite sides (or all 4 sides) of the 2nd layer

Step 8:

Apply glue along the top part of the strips and then place the 3rd layer on the top of it.

Step 9:

Attach the top layer (4^th layer) similarly.

Step 10:

Use sharpies to add details to the tree branch and bird figures.

Step 11:

Glue the bird figures on the tree branch, adjacent to each other.

Step 12:

Glue the tree branch on any layer as you like.

Step 13:

Cut out 1 or 2 heart cutouts and place them around the birds on the layers.
