Modern History Reading List
This fall, Bug is jumping right into modern history. I can’t believe we have homeschooled long enough to be on the “final” year of the history cycle, but here we are! As eclectic homeschoolers with a classical bent, I can’t tell you how much I love historical fiction and learning history on a timeline. We have books (upon books, upon books) stacked three deep on our shelves (and overflowing off the top of the shelves). I love for the kids to be able to just walk over to the bookcase to grab what they need for school. I have all of our books organized with color-coded labels to make it easy for them to know exactly which books fit in which time period.

I was able to purchase many of these books from Thrift Books where you can find out of print books, gently used books, and just about anything you want for a great price. We always try and stock our shelves as inexpensively as possible, and Thrift Books has a reward program (5 dollars back for every 50 spent) and free shipping for orders over 20 dollars. I was pleased that ALL of my books came quickly and exactly as described.
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
